Fond Trust Agency (FTA) is an indigenous, non-profit community development organisation committed to empowering youth, women and vulnerable populations through sustainable and community-driven development initiatives across West Nile, Uganda.
Founded in 2020 as a Community Based Organization, TER/931/006, Fond Trust Agency was established to strengthen Risk Communication and Community Engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, FTA is an indigenous, non-profit organisation registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee, 80034807956796. Formerly known as the Community Path Network for Development (CPND), FTA works with communities, government institutions and development partners to drive sustainable social and economic transformation.

The Problem: Girls aged 10β19 in refugee and host communities can face limited access to SRH information, life skills, leadership and economic opportunities.
Intervention: In partnership with CARE International in Uganda and funded by the Government of Canada, FTA delivers SRH education, leadership, life skills and economic empowerment initiatives.
Intended Impact: Improve health, confidence, leadership and economic opportunities for adolescent girls.
Community mobilisation, prevention awareness and health systems strengthening.
The Problem: Malaria remains a major public health challenge among refugee and host communities.
Intervention: With JSI under USAID funding, FTA implemented community mobilisation, health education, malaria prevention awareness and health systems strengthening across Terego District.
Intended Impact: Increase awareness, promote preventive practices and strengthen community health systems.
FTA brings strong community presence together with governance, qualified technical capacity and partnership experience.
